Mid-year marks are posted!!
After a long wait… your mid-year marks have finally been posted!
I see that some of you didn’t receive the tips. I’m glad to know that. But anyway the marking was done in my usual fashion, tips or no tips. OK it was a little stricter this time, but hey, I need to let the Hoo legacy live on…
I’ll be posting the answer scheme soon. Let me clean it up first before I put it online.
In other news, allow me to apologise first for your Progress Reports. Yes, I completed them, but here’s the story. In my second last week, before the Physics paper, I was trying to finish all my other paperwork so that the last week could be spent on just the marking. In case you didn’t know, Progress Reports are a MAJOR HEADACHE; more so for me because I try to type and write comments based on each individual. I could sometimes spend days writing reports just for one class, because I’m thinking of what to write.
This time I took the opportunity of scribbling comments on paper during invigilation, and I spent only an hour per class typing them all up based on my comments. Shhh. Don’t let Mrs Chan or Ms Susan know this. XD
UNFORTUNATELY, I DELETED THE FILE!!!
What an @$$, right?! I was backing all the data from the school laptop into my hard drive, and I thought I already had a copy. Unfortunately, I didn’t, so I had to RETYPE THE WHOLE THING. FOR ALL FOUR CLASSES.
Erm, I took the easy way out of using same comments then. I prepared a few standard sets for those with different grades and different behaviour in class, so you’ll find that your comments will be the same as the next person’s. I think I individualised some, but even so most of it will be the same.
All I can say is… thank God I don’t have to do Progress Reports anymore!!
